This special day marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, who believed deeply in the power of children to shape the destiny of the nation.

Pandit Nehru, fondly known as ‘Chacha Nehru’, had a gentle affection for children and a strong belief that the progress of a nation depends on the growth of its young generation. He often said:
