📘 History of Indian Navy Day
Indian Navy Day is observed to commemorate the heroic action of the Indian Navy during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, particularly Operation Trident, launched on the night of December 4, 1971.
During Operation Trident:

* Pakistan’s fuel reserves and naval vessels were severely damaged.
